There is sure a lot of information out there on the Internet, and unfortunately, not all of it is positive for your business or your reputation. We get a lot of customer questions about keeping web pages out of search results, but what about just moving them down in the rankings? It can be done with a little bit of time and diligence. The best way to push information down (or ideally to a second or third results page) is to flood the top 10 listings with positive blog postings, articles, press releases, etc.

Proper SEO (search engine optimization) writing will be quickly picked up by the major search engines and can help you regain your reputation or at least combat the negative publicity.

You have Microsoft Office 2007. Your client has a previous Office software version. How can the two of you share documents? Download the free Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack.

When Microsoft created Office 2007, they “added new file formats to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 to reduce file size, improve security and reliability, and enhance integration with external sources.” With Office 2007, your Word document is named in the format “MyDocument.docx.” (Note the “x” in the file extension.) In previous Office versions, the file name would be “MyDocument.doc.” Without the help of the Compatibility Pack, users of older Office versions are not able to open documents created in this new file format.
