Micro Web Site Sample

The purpose of a micro site is to highlight the individual, rather than an affiliate company.

Click the numbered explainations on the graphic to see how we distinguish you as an industry expert, rather than one of many consultants and sales representatives.

  4. Other Information Area
Any available related and supporting information can go in this area. We recommend:
    • Social Networking Connections - Do you practice social networking for business purposes? Allow visitors to connect using their perfered social networking method and gain additional insight into your professional circles.
    • Blog and Email Newsletter Signup - Have a blog or an e-newsletter? We'll link to it here. Allow visitors to subscribe to informational items that you regularly provide to your customers.

  6. Home/About Page Link

This page contains outside links to additional information (see #4) as well as links to the products/services (see #11) of your affiliate company. "Home" is typically the leftmost link in a web site's navigation area.

Your contact form will collect user contact details and comments. The submitted information will be delivered to your email account. Your form also includes browser validation to require fields and techniques to minimize spam and blank/false/accidental submissions. "Contact" is typically the rightmost link in a web site's navigation area.

  9. Consultant Bio
We'll post your pre-written biography information to this area of the "Home/About" page. The bio needs to communicate your strengths in your industry and include "keywords" and phrases that describe your service and locations served. The copy needs to appeal to your target audience as well as search engines.

  10. Testimonial Feature Area
Share a success story and connect with your visitors by providing a customer testimonial. Alternatively, an industry tip or statistic would fit well in this area.

  11. Affiliate Links Area
Here's where you'll drive traffic to your affiliate web site, where a customer will ultimately make a purchase.
We recommend that a Micro Web Site contain three distinct pages: one page about the individual (see #6), another with industry tips and information (see #7), and a contact page (see #8). Netdrafter's Micro Web Site Package includes these pages as well as a browser-based content management system (CMS), a custom domain name, and web site hosting.
