Email Support
Email Setup Instructions
Multiple email addresses are included with your web hosting plan. To check and use these email accounts, you will need to know the following information:
- The name of your domain (ex: mydomain.com)
- Usernames for your email addresses (ex: jsmith)
- Passwords for your email addresses
Please contact support@netdrafter.com if you do not have this information.
Checking Your Email
There are two main options for checking your email. The first option is checking your email online via a web interface (similar to what is offered by AOL, Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo). To access the login page, visit http://webmail.mydomain.com (replace 'mydomain' with the name of your domain) with any web browser and enter your email username and password. This method lets you check your email anywhere there is a connection to the Internet.
Additionally, you can check your email by using an email program. Using this method means that a program downloads your mail from a server and copies it to your local hard drive. The benefit of checking your email this way is that it frees your web account space (from storing email messages) and you can read downloaded email even when you're not connected to the Internet. Netdrafter recommends using Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express and provides support related to checking your email this way.
Other (unsupported) programs that can be used to check your email are:
